Newfoundland Black Bear Hunting Trips Particulars: Our Newfoundland black bear hunting lodge is accessible by vehicle via a logging road. Bear hunters have a short walk from the parking area to the main bear hunting lodge. We are situated on the shore of a lake which stretches five (5) miles, buffered by large stands of forested land in the middle of bear country. We often see black bears, Woodland Caribou and even Newfoundland Moose along the lake shore from our black bear hunting lodge. Above the trees are barren plateaus (caribou hunting terrain). We have one satellite camp which is a comfortable three (3) miles from the main lodge. This camp is also located on a pond shore that is often rich with hunting game. The distance between the main lodge and this camp is made up of a series of small ponds and open marshland (ideal moose hunting habitat). |
